GHOST IN THE SHELL ARISE" BD/DVD with all new episodes of the TV anime version will be released on August 26! PYROPHORIC CULT

The BD/DVD release of "GHOST IN THE SHELL ARISE PYROPHORIC CULT" from the TV anime "GHOST IN THE SHELL ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE" starting in April has been announced.


This is a reconstructed version of "Ghost in the Shell ARISE," the latest in the world popular masterpiece science fiction "Ghost in the Shell" series, with four chapters screened in theaters since June 2013, plus two completely new episodes. The story is set on the eve of the formation of the Ghost in the Shell, and depicts how the young Motoko Kusanagi came to establish the Ghost in the Shell, a special offensive special forces unit. Kazuya Kise is the general director and character designer, Ubukata Tow is the series composition writer, and Production I.G is the animation producer.

The BD/DVD release of "PYROPHORIC CULT," the newest episode of the TV version, will be released on August 26 as "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE PYROPHORIC CULT. This episode is a prequel to "Fire Starter," a cybernetic virus that will lead to "Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie," which will be released on June 20, and features the new character Pyromania.


Special features include a booklet, a collection of OP/next previews, logikoma notes, all 10 episodes of "Kyuka Inc." (a popular project from "Ghost in the Shell: Introduction to Aizu" broadcast on TOKYO MX from January to March 2014), and various promotional videos for Chapter 4.
