The HyperX Predator PCIe SSD series, high-speed M.2 SSDs with up to 1,400 MB/s read, is now available!

The HyperX Predator PCIe SSD series, M.2 SSDs with up to 1,400 MB/s read, is now available from Kingston.

The lineup includes two models: the 240GB capacity model SHPM2280P2/240G and the 480GB model SHPM2280P2/480G.

The SHPM2280P2/240G and SHPM2280P2/480G are M.2 Type 2280-compatible SSDs with an internal PCI Express 2.0 x4 connection, capable of up to 1,400MB/s read and 600MB/s (240GB model)/1,000MB/s write (480GB model) and SATA 6.0 x4 connection. (240GB model) / 1,000MB/s (480GB model), achieving transfer speeds exceeding SATA 6Gbps.

The SHPM2280P2/240G features specifications of 1,400MB/sec read, 600MB/sec write, 160,000 IOPS random read, and 119,000 IOPS random write.

The SHPM2280P2/480G features specifications of 1,400MB/sec read and 1,000MB/sec write. Random read: 130,000 IOPS, random write: 118,000 IOPS.

Other common specifications. Marvell 88SS9293 on-board controller; power consumption: idle: 1.38W (average 1.4W), read: max 1.99W, write: max 8.25W; MTBF: 1 million hours.

A PCI Express 2.0 x4 connection model with an HHHL adapter is also in the lineup, but is not yet in stock at this time.
