B-1 Grand Prix Shokudo, a B-class gourmet eating and drinking spot, opens in the summer of 2015 under the elevated railway tracks!　Between Akihabara "Chabara" and Okachimachi "2k540

A B-class gourmet dining spot called "B-1 Grand Prix Shokudo AKI-OKA CARAVANE" will open in summer 2015. The location is between Akihabara and Okachimachi stations under the elevated Yamanote Line.

This is the third phase of the elevated railway development between Akihabara and Okachimachi Stations by JR East Urban Development. Following "2k540," a local specialty crafts sales facility in Okachimachi, and "Chabara," a local specialty food sales facility in Akihabara, this time, a permanent store will be opened to officially recognize the "B-1 Grand Prix, "* a B-class gourmet event held nationwide. This is the first such permanent establishment in Tokyo, and at the time of opening, the restaurant will be supervised by 14 organizations that are members of the Ai B League (a liaison council of local gourmet groups for community revitalization). After that, the 70 organizations will be replaced in turn.

A joint PR event by groups from all over Japan using local gourmet foods to revitalize their towns (sponsored by the headquarters of the Love B League). Although sometimes misunderstood as a "B-class gourmet food contest," it is an annual showcase of volunteer activities by citizens from various industries and professions who use local gourmet foods as a regional resource. This activity aims to enhance the local brand through local gourmet food and encourage people to come to the area.

The site area is approximately 1,400 square meters, and business hours are from 11:00 to 22:00.
