The 29UC97-S, a 29-inch LCD monitor with a curved panel, is now available from LG.




The 29UC97-S is a 29-inch LCD monitor (2,560 x 1,080 pixels) with a CinemaScope aspect ratio of 21:9. The left and right sides of the panel are curved inward toreduce pivoting and eye movement, which reduces strain.

The main specifications are as follows: the main unit size is 701 (W) x 421 (H) x 226 (D) mm, and the weight is approximately 5.5 kg (without stand)/6.2 kg (with stand). LCD panel is AH-IPS; brightness is 300 cd/m2; contrast ratio is up to 1,000,000:1 (normally 1000:1). Response time is 5 ms. 178°/178° viewing angle (horizontal/vertical). Interfaces are DisplayPort x 1, Thunderbolt2 x 2, HDMI x 2, and stereo minijack (headphones).

Other features include stereo speakers (7W + 7W) and support for Waves' MaxxAudio audio correction technology.
