Ore Monogatari! is a girls' manga serialized in Bessatsu Margaret (original work: Kazune Kawahara/illustration: Arco). The original comic has been published up to volume 7, and boasts a total of over 3 million copies sold. The story is a romantic comedy centered on Takeo Gouda, a big, strong, and bold man, and the people around him. The characterization is characterized by breaking the conventional wisdom in shoujo manga that heroes are good-looking men, and the highlights of the story are the numerous popular elements displayed by the hero, who is not handsome by any means, but is both dynamic and masculine in his gentleness. Directed by Morio Asaka of "Chihayafuru" fame, the animation is produced by Madhouse.

The first episode aired on NTV on April 8, and BD/DVD information has been released; a total of eight BD/DVD volumes will be released, one volume per month, starting in June. In recent years, NTV productions handled by Vap have often been released in a boxed format, but it appears that this title will be released as a general single volume. The BD version will be priced at 5,800 yen plus tax, and the DVD version at 4,800 yen plus tax.

The first volume, to be released on June 24, will come with an original three-sided box, a drama CD with an original tall case, a special dialogue video (re-recorded from the April issue of "Bessatsu Margaret"), non-credit OP & ED, promotional videos (two types), audio commentary, and more.
