TV anime "Assassination Classroom" and Sasshinsei visits the Yakult Swallows!　Interaction with Tomohito Ito, Katsunori, Mitsuru Manaka, Tsubakuro and others!

The TV anime "Assassination Classroom" is currently airing, and Kakuro Sensei visited the Yakult Swallows.

Assassination Classroom" is an anime work based on the manga (serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump) by Yuuki Matsui of "Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro" fame. The story follows a year in the life of "Kakushi Sensei," who has Mach 20 speed and immense power and becomes the homeroom teacher of "Class E of Endo," a failing class in the third year of junior high school, although he declares that he will destroy the earth, and the students who take on the "Kakushi Sensei assassination mission" to save the earth. In addition to the anime version, the live-action movie version has also been well received.

Episode 12, "Time for the Baseball Tournament," airing on April 10, marks the start of the second school year. As episode 12 is an episode about a baseball tournament, Sasensei visits the Tokyo Yakult Swallows as the coach of Class E, which is set to face off against the members of the school's strongest baseball team. He appeared at their home stadium, Meiji Jingu Stadium, to try to get a hint of their victory. Below is the report.

Tomohito Sugino, a baseball fanatic in Class E of the 3rd grade. The model for his slider was Tomohito Ito, the current pitching coach of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows, who is still talked about as a legendary pitcher!
Before the airing of episode 12, "Time for the Ballgame," Kakusei directly interviews Coach Ito. We asked him to give a message to Sugino and advice to the kids who are trying their best to break out of their current situation, from the standpoint of a coach just like Kakusei.

Kakusei then moved to the practice field where the players were gathered to promote the program, where he stood out from a distance, attracting the players' interest as he approached.
Power hitter Kazuhiro Hatakeyama took a bat in his hand and attacked Kakusei with a powerful swing. The fierce attack made Kakusei impatient. Batting coach Katsunori Nomura, who approached "Nurufufufu ......," happily laughed and said, "I love kids," as he took a commemorative photo with Killsen-sei. He also succeeded in getting a long-sought-after two-shot with Manager Mitsuru Manaka! The team promoted the program while interacting with many of the players.

The team's mascot, Tsubakuro, also made an appearance at the practice field. At first, Tsubakuro was wary and looked at the players from a distance, but he gradually tried to make contact with them and got closer to them. At first, Tsubakuro sends a disturbing message, saying, "I will kill you soon," but they share their mutual love of baseball and become good friends. They got along so well that Tsubakuro even introduced "Koto no suketto ga kokokujin," or "I'm a good friend of yours.

After separating from Tsubakuro, Sasensei finally went to Meiji Jingu Stadium. He went to the bench before the game, took the mound, and did image training for the game with the baseball team. In between, he took pictures with the ladies of "Passion," the Swallows' dance team, and "Tsubami," the girls' mascot. After receiving energetic power and hints of victory, Kakusei left the stadium at full speed to pass on the secret to his students.

In the game against the Chunichi Dragons on the same day, Hatakeyama hit a timely hit to win the game for the Yakult Swallows, providing a strong encouragement to the Class E students. (Pitcher Nagisa Aragaki, who shares the same name as Nagisa Ushioda, was the winning pitcher!)
