Evangelion Racing Announces 2015 Suzuka 8 Hours Racing Team! Recruitment of individual sponsors has also begun!

The 2015 team structure of the racing team "Evangelion Racing" has been announced.

Since 2010, "Evangelion Racing" has been participating in the SUPER GT 300 class and the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race. Last year, the team bypassed SUPER GT and the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race was the only race they entered in Japan, and in 2015, they will again compete only in the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race. The team will be teaming up with TRICK STAR RACING, which has been their partner since 2010. The machine will continue to be the Kawasaki ZX-10R-based "Eva RT First Model TRICK STAR," with Osamu Deguchi and Hitoyasu Izutsu as riders. The race queens are formed as "Evangelion Racing RQ 2015. Hiromi Hikichi, RQ as Rei Ayanami, and Hina Noro as Asuka will continue to be members of the team, but Misaki Horio as Mari, Rika Haruhara as Shinji, and Yu Shiragisa as Kaworu are new members.

Individual sponsorships will be accepted on the crowdfunding site "Shooting Star" (http://shootingstar.jp/projects/774) from April 10. A wide range of rewards are available, ranging from 1,000 yen to 1 million yen, including a name on the official website, a button-down shirt, a 3D figure resembling the Eva Racing RQ, an official business card, and an acrylic key ring.

Director Ryuji Tsuruta said, "This year will be the sixth time I have collaborated with Evangelion Racing in the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race, and I have always taken on the challenge with the determination that this might be the last time. This year, too, I want to accomplish the mission I have been given without any regrets. Although our car is not a works car, we will put all of our efforts into it and aim for a podium finish. Please pay attention to our team's battle.
