To promote the campaign, Ms. Yuko Gitake, who plays the role of Maon Sakurada, worked part-time at the Poplar Higashi-Ohkubo store on April 12 for 1,000 yen per hour. About 200 fans and customers visited the cash register where Ms. Gitake was in charge, and she worked from 14:00 to 18:00, including one hour of overtime.

14:00 - Part-time job begins
We started with the basics of a part-time job, working the cash register. While keeping the basics in mind, such as promptly bagging items and serving customers with a smile, the staff at the Poplar head office, who visited to observe the event, were wowed by the way they handled things like soliciting customers to sign up for point cards, which reminded them of experienced staff members.

3:30 p.m. - Cleaning
After the cash registers are closed, it's time to clean up the store. We always want our customers to have a pleasant shopping experience," says Mr. Gitake, who is used to cleaning the store. Not a speck of dust is left in the store.

4:00 p.m. - Skipping work
In the evening, when the number of customers has thinned out, a store employee catches him skipping out on a snack in the back yard.
