NARUTO Announces Cast for New Anime Film "BORUTO!　Naruto son Uzumaki Bolt and Sasuke daughter Uchiha Salad

The cast and character visuals of the anime film "BORUTO-NARUTO THE MOVIE," which will be released in theaters on August 7, have been unveiled.

BORUTO-NARUTO THE MOVIE" is the latest animated feature film based on the manga "Naruto" by Masashi Kishimoto, whose original comics have sold over 200 million copies worldwide. The original manga series was completed in 2014, the 15th anniversary of its serialization, and the anime version, "THE LAST -NARUTO THE MOVIE-," released on December 6, became a blockbuster hit, recording the highest box office gross of all time at 1.98 billion yen (as of March 31, 2015). And a new animated film "Boruto: Naruto the Movie," written, character designed, and executive produced by the original author Masashi Kishimoto, will be released in theaters on August 7, depicting the exploits of Naruto and his sons' generation.

The cast and character visuals have now been released. Uzumaki Bolt, the son of Naruto and Hinata, will be played by Yuko Sanpei, and Uchiha Salad, the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, will be played by Kokoro Kikuchi. It has also been announced that Naruto (CV: Junko Takeuchi) and Sasuke (CV: Noriaki Sugiyama), now fully grown adults, will appear in this work, making for a gorgeous co-starring performance by the two sets of parents and children. Junko Takeuchi, who plays Naruto, and Yufuko Sanpei, who plays Bolt, co-starred in the TV anime "Yes!

Naruto" is one of those works that you can't help but see when you open a Jump magazine. I am happy to be able to participate as a member of the family in something that has been so desired and loved by everyone. The greatness of the work. The magnitude of my father. I feel a lot of pressure. I still don't really feel that I am going to play Bolt. What did Bolt feel growing up? I wonder what his shinobi path is like. I feel that I have to find out more about Bolt himself than just being the son of the Hokage. As a fan myself, I am excited to see how the story will unfold. I will do my best to be a part of "Naruto".

When I was in high school, one of my classmates brought a "Naruto" comic book to school and I thought, "Oh, it's "Naruto"! I remember thinking, "Oh, it's 'Naruto'! It was an ordinary scene, but it remained in my memory for a long time. Fifteen years later, I was deeply moved to be involved in "Naruto". I also thought it was wonderful that this is the first movie version that Mr. Kishimoto is directing production of. I hope to carefully express the joy, anger, sorrow, and humor of Sarada-chan, who is a bit poisonous and sarcastic, but also hard working, straight, and cute... I hope that I will be able to express each and every one of her emotions. I am looking forward to seeing the movie version of "Boruto", what kind of story it will tell, what kind of characters will appear in it, and many other things. I would be happy if I could enjoy it with you all!
