Dragon Ball Science! Exhibition, also held at Fuji Television Network, Odaiba, Tokyo! Experience science with the brainwave-activated "Muscular Cloud Simulator" and more!
Dragon Ball Science! exhibition will be held in Odaiba, Tokyo.
The "Dragon Ball Science! exhibition was held at the Nagoya City Science Museum from July to August 2014 as a project to promote interest in science through the "Dragon Ball" series. Phenomena and items that appear in the movie (e.g. "Kamehameha" and "Hoi-poi capsule") are researched to see how far they can be reproduced using modern science, and are exhibited and exhibited as attractions to the public. The "Sujito Cloud Simulator" reproduces the setting in which only "pure-hearted people" can ride the simulator by measuring their state of mind with brain waves and moving them around. In the "Kamehameha Simulator," Goku teaches you how to perform the simulation, and the power of the Kamehameha changes depending on the results. A booth where Goku's voice from the planet Kaioh can be experienced as "telepathy" and trick art that allows visitors to easily climb the "Karin Tower," which even Goku had trouble climbing.
In Tokyo, the event will be held within the "Spring Fes 2015 - LIFE ! The event will be held from April 29 to May 10, 2015, from 10:00 to 18:00 (*last admission at 17:30). Admission is 1,100 yen in advance (300 yen for elementary and junior high school students), 1,300 yen at the door (500 yen for elementary and junior high school students). A common ticket that also allows admission to the " Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of 'F'" exhibition to be held at Fuji Television's spherical observation deck "Hachitama" at the same time will be available for 1,650 yen (750 yen for elementary and junior high school students). The ticket is available at Lawson Ticket (L code: 31943). Below is a partial list of the exhibition contents.
Let's Ride on Suito Cloud!
Only those with a pure mind can ride the muscular cloud. The state of mind is measured by brain waves, and the Muscular Cloud Simulator can be operated. When mid-alpha waves, brain waves that occur when the mind is very calm and focused, appear during the measurement time, the muscular cloud will ascend.
Let's throw a hoi-poi capsule!
Throw a model of a "hoi-poi capsule" at the screen, and depending on the type of "hoi-poi capsule" you throw, various objects such as a house, a motorcycle, or an airplane will be projected on the screen.
Let's try to make a Kamehameha wave!
Goku will teach everyone how to perform the Kamehameha. The simulator will give you three different results. There are three types of simulator results: a large Kamehameha, a medium Kamehameha, and a small Kamehameha.
Let's observe the Android!
What would it be like if there really were a synthetic human? Try to get close to the capsule and observe. After confirming that the Android does not move, please take a picture quietly.
Let's listen to the voice from Kaioh-sama!
With the help of the King of the World, Goku was able to communicatetelepathicallywith his friends on Earth.
Let's climb the Karin Tower!
You can climb the "Kaling Pagoda," which even Goku had trouble climbing. This is an artwork that uses optical illusions and is made by combining a model of the "Karin Pagoda" and the "Karin Pagoda" drawn on the floor. Pretend to be holding onto the model and look at it from a certain point, and you will be able to take a picture as if you have climbed high up in the sky.
