BD/DVD information was announced for the TV anime "Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches," which will start in April.

Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches" is an anime work based on the manga by Miki Yoshikawa, which is serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. It is a school comedy that depicts the main character, who is constantly causing problems at a private preparatory school, getting involved in a search for "witches" who are rumored to be seven in the school. The animation production will be handled by Leiden Film. Incidentally, like Miki Yoshikawa's previous work "Yankee-kun to Megane-chan," a live-action drama adaptation has already been made.

The BD/DVD will be released in a boxed set, with the first volume (episodes 1 to 6) going on sale on August 26 and the second volume (episodes 7 to 12) on November 25. Included in the package are a lottery entry postcard for a present of 777 copies of Miki Yoshikawa's raw manuscripts and a postcard and storage file with end-card illustrations. The first volume also comes with a priority sales lottery application ticket for an event featuring all the voice actors to be held on November 15. The bonus video/audio features include "Yamada-kun to 7 no Majo" (Yamada-kun and 7 witches) and "Yankee-kun to Megane-chan" (Yankee-kun and Megane-chan) dream collaboration animation in the upper volume, and "Special program just before the start of the broadcast! Yamada-kun to 7 no Majo to 7 no Himitsu (Yamada-kun, 7 witches and 7 secrets)" program video and web radio "Listener-kun to 2 no Majo" sound source. Both BD editions are priced at 20,000 yen plus tax, and DVD editions at 16,000 yen plus tax.
