Home Karaoke "JOYSOUND.TV Plus" to Hold Online Karaoke Competition from April 23!　100 Songs to be Challenged

A karaoke competition will be held from April 23 to May 21 on the PS4/PS3 versions of "JOYSOUND.TV Plus," a home karaoke service by the karaoke company JOYSOUND.

TV Plus" allows users to enjoy more than 100,000 karaoke songs at home by simply preparing a game console and a USB microphone. In addition to basic karaoke functions such as microphone echo and key change, the system is equipped with functions such as a "nationwide scoring function" and "analysis scoring" that allow users to compete with other users nationwide, and "Kyoku Navi," which allows users to use their smartphones and tablets as remote controllers to select songs. An online karaoke competition will be held using the "nationwide scoring function.

The karaoke battle will feature 100 standard songs, including enka and anime songs, and prizes will be awarded to the 20 winners (60 in total) selected by drawing from those who place first to third in each song. The prizes are gift certificates that can be used at JOYSOUND directly-managed stores nationwide (first place: 10,000 yen worth, second place: 5,000 yen worth, third place: 3,000 yen worth), and there is also a "JOYSOUND Prize" (2,000 yen worth) that will be awarded to 80 people drawn from among all participants.

To be eligible to participate, users must have a valid "30-day ticket" (952 yen + tax) or "100-day ticket" as of 18:00 on May 21, the day the event ends.
