Xenoblade Cross, Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, and other notable games on sale this week!

Here is a roundup of the hottest home video game software released this week!

First up is the Wii U RPG "Xenoblade Cross".

Xenoblade Cross" is a new RPG directed by Tetsuya Takahashi, the creator of the classic RPGs "Xenogears" and the "Xenosaga" trilogy, with a unique worldview that fuses science fiction and fantasy, and a profound story that interweaves various values and concepts.

Although there is no direct connection to the storyline, the game inherits the essence of the Wii/New 3DS RPG "Xenoblade," including a vast open world and seamless battles that rush into battle without switching screens.

The game takes place on Mira, an undeveloped planet reached by the "White Whale," one of the interstellar immigrant ships that escaped from Earth after it was caught in a battle between mysterious alien civilizations. Players belong to an organization called "Blade" in order to make Mira their second home, and search for survivors of the human race while investigating the vast land of Mira.

As in the previous titles, the battle system employs seamless battles in which players enter a battle without changing screens when they come into contact with a monster on the field. Depending on the situation, players will fight by moving behind or to the side of the monster, using "auto attack," which automatically unleashes normal attacks, and special moves called "arts" in conjunction with their companions. In addition, this title incorporates new elements such as "Soul Voice," which allows players to recover their strength by responding appropriately to their friends' commands, "Overclock Gear," which allows players to fire a series of Arts without recast time, and "Doll," a humanoid robot that can be a great help not only in battle but also in planetary exploration. The game also incorporates new elements such as "Doll," a humanoid robot that is not only a major force in combat but also in planetary exploration.

At the store in Akihabara, the game got off to a calm start. In addition to adventures, the title offers a lot of opportunities and volume, such as monster defeating, weapon making, and robot battles, but the fact that it will only be released on Wii U may be a bottleneck.
