The PE4F-HP045F riser card, which allows a PCI Express card to be mounted in a 5-inch bay, is now available!

The PE4F-HP045F extension kit for mounting a PCI Express card in a 5-inch bay is now available from Bplus Technology.




The PE4F-HP045F is an extension kit consisting of a riser card that can be used to extend the PCI Express 2.0 x4 slot on the motherboard and a mounter for mounting a PCI Express x16 card in a 5-inch bay.

The mounter includes a riser card with a PCI Express x16 slot, and three front panels are included: one for two slots, one for one slot, and one for low profile. The power supply is a 4-pin peripheral, and the supported OS is Windows 8/7/Vista SP2 or higher/XP SP3 or higher.

Note that the connection interface with the motherboard is PCI Express 2.0 x4, which limits bandwidth for high-end video cards.
