Summer Anime "Million Dolls" Announces Second Cast, Including Aya Uchida! Portraying idols from the viewpoints of management, fans, etc.

The second cast has been announced for the TV anime "Million Doll," which will start in July.


Million Doll" is an anime work based on a popular web manga serialized on the new manga distribution service "GANMA! It not only follows the trajectory of idols on their way to success, but also realistically depicts the reality surrounding idols, including the inner workings of their management and the unique perspectives of the fans who support them. Directed by Kawaguchi Keiichiro of "SKET DANCE" and "Life," script by Murakami Momoko of the "Pretty Rhythm" series, and produced by Asahi Productions.

Broadcasting will begin on July 6 on TOKYO MX and Sun TV, and the second part of the cast has been released. Ryusan will be played by Yuichiro Umehara, Momona by Yui Watanabe, Rina by Mayu Iizuka, and Hinami Kamakura by Aya Uchida. A visual of Mariko, played by Miki Ito, has also been released.

The audition is currently being held by JTB Communications (), seeking voice actors for the roles of "Koo-Nyan" and "a member of the idol group that appears in the film.
