Original animated film "Typhoon Norda" trailer with theme song by Galileo Galilei unveiled!　Simultaneous screening of "Ao Shigure in the Sun" is also scheduled.

A trailer has been released for the animated film "Typhoon Norda," which will be released on June 5.

Typhoon Norda" is the latest original animation film by Studio Colorido (established in 2011), a production company that brings together young creators mainly in their 20s, including 26-year-old Yuyasu Ishida, who won numerous awards including the Excellence Award at the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival for his short animation "Fumiko's Confession". It is a story of friendship between boys at a junior high school on a remote island on the eve of a cultural festival, and marks the directorial debut of Yojiro Arai (26), who previously worked as an animator on "The Borrower Arrietty," "From Up on Poppy Hill," and "The Wind Rises" at Studio Ghibli.

The trailer has now been released. In the trailer, young actor Shuhei Nomura, who is making his first attempt as a voice actor, provides the character voice of the main character, Higashi, and the theme song "After the Storm" by Galileo Galilei is also performed for the first time. In addition, "Yonata no Ao Shigure" directed by Yuyasu Ishida, who is in charge of character design and drawing, will be screened at the same time, which is also expected to be a hot topic since it attracted attention as it was selected as an assessment committee recommended work at the Japan Media Arts Festival when it was released in 2013.

I am very honored to receive the offer to sing the theme song for "Typhoon Norda. The setting was simple and universal, and the director had specific requests, so when I was shown the storyboard, I felt the image of the song building up in my mind. A pouring rain, a covered bus stop, two people in a fight. I wrote this song with these things in mind. I was very particular about the recording, so I hope you will listen to it in a movie theater with big speakers.
