Summer Anime "GOD EATER" Announces Staff/Cast!　Directed by Takayuki Hirao, who has been working on the anime part of the original work

The staff and cast of the TV anime "GOD EATER," which will start in July, have been announced.

GOD EATER" is an anime based on Namco Bandai Games' monster-killing action game, which has shipped more than 3 million units. In the original story, the player becomes a member of "God Eater" who controls a "God Machine," a weapon that changes into three forms: a "gun form" for sniper attacks, a "melee weapon form" to inflict damage when approaching, and a "predator" form to steal enemy abilities and temporarily power up. The action game, in which players carry out numerous missions to defeat monsters called "Aragami," has also gained popularity for its dramatic story based on a profound worldview.

The anime version has already been decided to be produced by ufotable, but the staff and cast have finally been unveiled. The director/sound director and script will be Takayuki Hirao, who has worked on "The Garden of the Sinister Spiral of the Sky," "Witch Girl Sisters Yoyo and Nene" and the anime parts of the original game; character design will be by Keita Shimizu; and the opening theme will be by OLDCODEX. The cast includes Ryuichi Kijima as Renka Soraki, Hiroaki Hirata as Lindow Amemiya, Kazuya Nakai as Soma Siczar, Sayaka Ohara as Sakuya Tachibana, Daisuke Sakaguchi as Kota Fujiki, and Maaya Sakamoto as Alisa Irinichna Amiela.

A key visual depicting the main characters was also released.
