Gatchaman Crows Announces Key Visual and New Characters/Cast for Second TV Season "INSIGHT"!　Additional settings for existing characters as well.

A key visual and new characters/cast members have been announced for the TV anime "GATCHAMAN CROWDS insight," which will start in July.

This is the second season of the TV anime "GATCHAMAN CROWDS," based on Tatsunoko Productions' popular anime "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman," which started in October 1972 and recorded an average rating of 21%. The first season was set in Japan in the early summer of 2015, and tells the story of the hero's new life in Tachikawa City, Tokyo, where 180,000 people live and the second capital city functions, and was popular not only among fans of the old series but also among newcomers to the series. The second season, as a sequel, depicts the story "beyond" the first season. The staff has not changed from the first season.

The key visual and new characters/cast were unveiled this time. The new characters are: Misu Tatsusa (CV: Ishihara Natsuori), a high school girl from Niigata who is a buddy of Hajime because of her intuitive nature that her body moves with her emotions; Suzuki Rizumu (CV: Umehara Yuichiro), a medical student who considers Crowes and Lui dangerous and starts a mysterious organization; Tsubasa, an extraterrestrial on a spaceship that crash-lands and a pacifist spaceman who misses Gelsadora (CV: Kana Hanazawa), a pacifist alien on a spaceship that crash-landed on Earth and is fond of Tsubasa. The key visual shows Hajime and Tsubasa in the center.

In addition, the existing characters have been added: "Since the Tachikawa Incident last year, he has been living with Berg Katze inside his body," and "He is currently working as the secretary of Shimizu, the mayor of Tachikawa City.

Hajime Ichinose
A third-year high school student at Tachikawa Hohina Gakuen. He is one of the Gatchaman. His first name is "Boku. He is cheerful, bright, powerful, and energetic. He is a natural speaker and often speaks abstractly, but he is able to see the essence of things. Since the Tachikawa Incident last year, he has been living with Berg Katze inside his body.

Kiyone Tachibana
A first-year student at a private university in Tokyo, Kiyone Tachibana is one of the Gatchaman. She looks up to Jou, who rescued her when she was captured by MESS as a child. He is not too happy about the fact that Gatchaman has become famous since the Tachikawa Incident, and is now living his college life.

Biwagi Takeshi
One of the members of Gatchaman, he once rescued Kiyone from MESS. He is currently working as a secretary for Kiyomizu, the mayor of Tachikawa. He is excellent at his job and is highly regarded by others. She is good at darts and hopes for world peace.

Utsutsu Miyanomiya
A second-year high school student at Tachikawa Hohina Gakuen. She is a girl with the habit of saying "Utsu-tsu-tsu shimasu," and is one of the Gatchaman. She can heal and alter herself with her supernatural powers. She is good friends with her roommate O.D. and has recently started a part-time job in addition to her volunteer activities.

Pieman
An alien Gatchaman dispatched by J.J. Robinson, he is the team leader of Tachikawa CAGE. He opened a day-care center in the Gotcha Mansion, believing that "children are the hope of the earth. He is now affectionately called "Paipai" by the local children.

O.D.
One of the Gatchaman, he is the guardian of the team members. Since the Tachikawa Incident, he has appeared regularly on the popular information program "Millionaire," and has become popular among the TV audience as a sounding board. He has a cat named Altair.

Ruisei Ernomiya
A boy who was given the ability to control crowds after Berg Katze pulled out his notebook, Rui is a genius-type idealist who created GALAX, a social networking service, and President X, who oversees it. After the Tachikawa Incident, he becomes Gatchaman. He believes in the will of man and wishes to update the world.

President X
An unfinished artificial intelligence developed by Rui Ninomiya with the cooperation of hackers around the world. In order to perfect President X as the key system for "updating the world," Rui has been developing it by dealing with all kinds of problems presented by GALAX users. In addition, President X is currently being introduced into government projects.

Berg Katze.
Alien and firebrand. He was the instigator of the Tachikawa Incident. He speaks in a unique tone, abusing internet slang. Since the Tachikawa Incident, he has been taken in by Hajime, but he seems to be the same as ever.

J.J. Robinson
A member of the council and a watcher of the earth. He gives power to a person by extracting the NOTE from the person with the qualities, and appoints him as Gatchaman. Through the NOTE, he gives prophecies about beings that cannot be dealt with by the Earth's scientific power.
