Baymax" topped the Oricon BD chart for the first time in two weeks! Anna and the Snow Queen" returned to the Top 10 for the first time in 12 weeks!

The BD version of the animated film "Baymax," released on April 24, was revealed to be the overall leader in the Oricon Weekly BD Ranking dated May 18.

The number of copies sold in the third week of release was 27,000. This is the first time for a BD film released in 2015 to return to the top spot since "Anna and the Snow Queen" was released in July 2014 and recorded sales on January 12, 2015.

Incidentally, the May 18 ranking was also marked by strong sales of family-oriented Disney titles, due in part to the fact that the ranking was compiled during the Golden Week holiday season. In the May 18 ranking, "Anna and the Snow Queen" returned to the top 10 for the first time in 12 weeks since the February 23 ranking, rising from No. 14 to No. 8, "Planzel in the Tower" rose from No. 15 to No. 12, and "Beauty and the Beast" rose from No. 20 to No. 14.
