NFC-equipped SD card from Toshiba that allows you to check the contents with your smartphone!

SD cards with NFC functionality (overseas models) are now available from Toshiba.

The lineup consists of three models: the 32GB capacity model "SD-R032R7ULN01A", the 16GB capacity model "SD-R016R7ULN01A", and the 8GB capacity model "SD-R008R7ULN01A".

The SD-R032R7ULN01A, SD-R016R7ULN01A, and SD-R008R7ULN01A SD cards feature NFC functionality as mentioned above. When held over an NFC-enabled Android smartphone with the dedicated "Memory Card Preview" application installed, it is possible to checkfree space andthumbnails of stored photos (up to 16 photos).

Main specifications includean SD speed class of Class 10 and NFC compliance with the NFC Forum Type 3 Tag. The compatible device is an NFC-enabled Android smartphone.

Note that the packaging states "This is a product for a specific overseas country/region, so support in Japan is not available.
