TV anime "Sakurako-san's Underfoot is Buried Dead" to start in Fall 2015! Key visuals and staff have been unveiled.

The TV anime "Sakurako-san no Ashiwa ni Mareta ni Fukurimareta" will begin airing in the fall of 2015. The key visual and staff have also been announced.



Sakurako-san no Ashiwa ni shita shita wa shinda ni burimareru" is an anime work based on a mystery novel by Shiori Ota, published by Kadokawa Bunko. The story follows Sakurako Kujo, a young lady of exceptional beauty and style who loves to admire beautiful bones, and Shotaro Tatewaki, an ordinary high school student who is pushed around by her, as they become entangled in a case involving bones.

The broadcast start date has been set for fall 2015. The key visual and staff have also been announced. Directed by "Pupipo! and "Aldnoah Zero"; assistant director is Makoto Bessho of "Shangri-La"; series composition is by Kisei Igami of "Rinru Ping Drum" and "Urikuma Arashi"; character draft is by Tetsuo; character design and chief animation director is Michio Satou; and animation production is by The key visual is a key character, "Ping Drum" and "Urikuma Arashi" by Kayo Igami. The key visual depicts Sakurako and Shotaro with cherry blossoms in full bloom in the background.

Asahikawa, Hokkaido. In this town, there lives "Sakurako-san". Sakurako-san is a beautiful girl and the daughter of a famous family. Yet, she "loves bones" more than three meals a day. When I am with her, for some reason, I also seem to have a connection with bones. I am always being pushed around by Sakurako-san and incidents involving bones, but the reason I don't mind it is because of you, Sakurako-san, I am sure.
