Original animated film "Typhoon Norda" to be broadcast as a special program on Fuji Television Network, etc., just before its release!　Ao Shigure" will be broadcast uncut for the first time on TV!

A special program just before the release of the animation film "Typhoon Norda," which will be released on June 5, has been announced.

Typhoon Norda" is an original animation film, the latest work by Studio Colorido (established in 2011), a production company that brings together young creators mainly in their 20s, including 26-year-old Yuyasu Ishida, who won numerous awards including the Excellence Award at the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival for his short animation "Fumiko's Confession". It is a story of friendship between boys at a junior high school on a remote island on the eve of a cultural festival, and marks the directorial debut of Yojiro Arai (26), who has worked as an animator on "The Borrower Arrietty," "From Up on Poppy Hill," and "The Wind Rises" at Studio Ghibli.

A special program will be broadcast on June 4 from 25:35 to 26:05 on Fuji Television's Kanto local channel, just before the film's release. In addition to a special trailer and an interview with the director, the special program will broadcast for the first time on TV the uncut short animation "Yonata no Aoshigure" (produced by Studio Colorido), which attracted much attention when it was released in 2013 and was selected as a Jury Recommended Film at the Japan Media Arts Festival. In addition, the audience will be able to get an unpublished illustration by shaking their smartphones with the main character, Yōtta no Ao Shigure.
