Cycling anime "Weak Mushi Pedal" broadcasts a road bike showdown between 6 voice actors!　Two teams will be divided and battle hard!

Live-action road bike-themed programs featuring the voice cast of "Weak Pedal" will be broadcast in June and August.

This program will be broadcast by the sports TV station "J SPORTS" as a special program for the start of the "Tour de France" in June and the "Vuelta a España" in August, known as the world's most prestigious cycling races. In addition to introducing both races, six voice actors from the cycling anime "Yowamushi Pedal," whose first feature-length film version will be released on August 28, will be showing their beloved Sohoku High School vs. the Hakone Gakuen/Kyoto Fushimi alliance on a 5km circuit at the Shuzenji Cycle Sports Center in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, which also appeared in the main anime film. The two episodes will show the battle between the two teams on their road bikes.

The cast includes Daiki Yamashita as Sakamichi Onoda, Shotaro Morikubo as Yusuke Makishima, Kentaro Ito as Jun Tadokoro, Tsubasa Dainaga as Yamasa Manami, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Yasutomo Arakita, and Hiroshi Nojima as Kotaro Ishigaki. The race will not only be a speed contest, but will also feature strategy and tactics, just as in an actual cycle road race.

The first part of the race will be broadcast on J SPORTS 4 from 21:55 on June 13, and the second part in early August.
