Animated film "Tensai Bakavon" reveals opening scene photos! Director Ryuichi Yagi of the 3DCG film version of Doraemon joins

New scenes from the animated film "Tensai Bakavon: Dog of Flanders", which will be released on May 23, have been released.



Tensai Bakavon: A Dog of Flanders" is the first feature-length "Tensai Bakavon" film produced to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Fujio Akatsuka's birth. FROGMAN of "The Secret Society Hawk's Nail" fame will direct and write the script, which will fuse two anime classics, "Tensai Bakavon" and "A Dog of Flanders," in a battle. Production will be by DLE, with participation by FUJIO PRO, PIERO, and Nippon Animation as production collaborators. The story starts from the last scene of "A Dog of Flanders," which moved the whole country. However, Nero and Patrush shake off the hands of the angels and come back to the present day as pawns of evil, becoming demons of vengeance against those who have mistreated them and repeating their evil deeds. The Bakabon family then challenges them with their stupidity. The film is also attracting attention for its star-studded cast: Miori Takimoto, Inuko Inuyama, Ryubei Ueshima of the Ostrich Club, Kunio Murai, Mitsuo Iwata, and FROGMAN's beloved dog.

The film was completed with great care until the very last minute of the film's completion. <Story.
The Bakabon family consists of the eldest son, Bakabon, his free-spirited father, kind mother, and younger brother, Hajime. They live happily every day in a corner of Tokyo. However, suspicious men begin to appear one after another in the family. They are the Intelliperi, a dark organization. For some reason, they want to know "Bakabon Papa's real name," and they try to get close to him in every possible way, but Papa just keeps playing with them and they can never get his real name out of him. Dante, the leader of the Intelliperi, plans to find out Papa's real name from his son, Bakabon. He says, "The best way to get to know a kid is to get to know him. ... a special child." And so the souls of Nero and Patrush, the heroes of "A Dog of Flanders," are summoned to hell! What is the fate of the targeted Bakabon? And what is the secret behind Bakabon Papa's real name?
