REX-SEEK2, a Bluetooth-connected loss prevention tag, is now available from RATOC System.
The "REX-SEEK2" is a loss prevention tag that can be connected to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth, allowing the dedicated "REXSEEK2" application to check the location of the tag with an audible buzzer and LED light.
In addition, the tag is equipped with a function that notifies the user when the smartphone and tag are separated by a certain distance or when the Bluetooth connection is lost, a function that notifies the user of incoming phone calls and e-mails, and a camera shutter function.
The main specifications are as follows: the main unit measures 30 (diameter) x 10 (thickness) mm and weighs approximately 8 g (not including batteries). The connection interface is Bluetooth 4.0+LE, with a maximum communication distance of 30 m ( depending on usage environment ). The power supply is a button battery (CR2032 x 1), with a continuous operating time of approximately 6 months. Compatible models are iOS 8.2 or later and Android 4.3 or later.
