Robot Girls Z+ Plus" web-anime announces new characters/cast!　Voice actors' comments from the recording studio are also available.

The TV anime "Robot Girls Z" has announced new characters/cast members for the new web anime "Robot Girls Z+ Plus.

Robot Girls Z" is derived from "Toei Robot Girls", a moe character that appeared in 2009 as a promotional character personifying robots from robot anime such as "Gaiking", "Magne Robo Ga Keen", "Chojin Sentai Barattack", and "Planet Robo Danguard A". The original anime "Robot Girls Z" was created by turning "Mazinger Z", "Great Mazinger", and "UFO Robot Grendizer" into beautiful girl characters, and not only the three heroines but also the enemy mechanical beasts were depicted as beautiful girls (elementary school students, gals, etc.) wearing costumes. The new short movie "Robot Girls Z+Plus" will be released one episode per month starting on May 20, 2015.

This time, the new characters/casts appearing in the new "Robot Girls Z+ Plus" will be unveiled. The two characters are the bonded beast Bong (CV: Minami Takahashi) and the sky monster Grungen (CV: Aimi Maeda). Comments from the recording studio for episodes 1 and 2 have also arrived from the voice actors, including the two mentioned above.

Q: How was your first participation in "Robot Girls Z" and how did you feel about being treated so poorly right away?
When I saw the three main actors playing the roles, I felt "I can do whatever I want! I felt that I could do whatever I wanted (laughs). (Laughs) I am very good friends with the three main actors, so I was happy to be able to play in the film. But Bong's last scene was so "naked" that I wanted to put clothes on him... (laughs).

Q: This is your first time participating in the "Robot Girls Z" anime.
Actually, this is the second time for me to do postrecording, and the first time for me to play a character with a role name! It was a role with a lot of lines, which made my stomach hurt (laughs), but I hope you will love Grangen.
Q: Grangen is a naughty character, right?
（Bong (the enemy character in the first episode) has the will to defeat Team Z, but Grangen just wants to play with everyone! He just wants to have sex with everyone! I played him with that in mind (laughs).

Q: How do you feel about the restart?
I went into the recording thinking, "It's been a year (since the last anime)..." I thought to myself, "I don't think the first episode will air as is. The first episode could have been broadcast as is. The first episode was easy to record because the pictures had been colored and were moving (as animation) to the point where I thought, "Oh, Roboga is like this! It reminded me of the tension in Roboga. I remembered it so much.
Q: About the web radio
To be honest, my heart is heavy at the news that the web radio will start again (laughs). (Laughs) When I remember the previous web radio, I was always tired after the recording because I was always making fun of it. I only have memories of how hard it was, but I will do my best to get through this time as well!

Q: How do you feel about the restart?
I was surprised to hear that it had been a year since I had voiced a character in an online game and a drama CD, so I was surprised to hear that it had been a year since I had played the role in an anime. But with the animation, I was able to play the role vividly, and Gure-chan came easily to me, so I was very happy. And most of all, I am glad that I had a chance to be in the show (laughs). Over the past year, the characters have grown so much that I wondered if the first characters would fade away...but I had my lines (laughs).
Q: About the web radio
In the last web radio show, I started out with Mariko (Honda) and I would play along with her, but I got tired of it, so we only talked when we wanted to talk in a relaxed manner (laughs). (Laughs) We are such a loose program, and I think that looseness is the charm that other programs don't have, so I hope that we can continue to bring our unique style to you even after we become "Robot Girls Z Plus.

Q: How do you feel about the relaunch?
In the online game, new characters are introduced every month, and even the original characters are upgraded like "Devil Scrander Z-chan," so I hope there will be upgraded characters in the anime as well, including Team Z! I was really free to do what I wanted, and I didn't mind the time because I thought Mr. Honda was going to proceed without looking at the script, and I was sure he was going to give me a good time (laughs). But there were parts that I left to him, so this year, I will try my best.

Q: Ms. Paan, who appears in the second episode, has appeared in drama CDs and games, but this is her first appearance in an animation. How do you feel about playing her?
It was the first time for me to see Pern in action. She is a character who is a bit of a nerd, but when she starts to move, she strikes a pose and acts in a nerdy way as well... (laughs). (Laughs.) She is cute, but there were some statements that were a little difficult to understand, so I tried my best to interpret them and express them!
