Assassination Classroom" unveils a new visual for the climax of its first TV anime season! The opening image is also set on a southern island.

New visuals and scenes from the new opening movie have been released from the TV anime "Assassination Classroom" currently airing.


Assassination Classroom" is an anime work based on the manga (serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump) by Yuuki Matsui of "Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro" fame. The story follows a year in the life of "Kakushi Sensei," who has Mach 20 speed and enormous power and is in charge of "End no E class," a failing third-year junior high school class that declares it will destroy the earth, and the students who take on the "Kakushi Sensei Assassination Mission" to save the earth. The live-action film version, which was released on March 21, 2015, was a box-office hit, grossing over 2.5 billion yen, and a sequel is in the works. A second season of the anime version has also been announced.

A new visual was released in preparation for the start of a large-scale assassination plot on a remote island in Okinawa, which will be aired on Fuji TV and other networks from May 22, 2012, in episode 18, "Decision Time. The illustration depicts a group of students all armed with guerrilla weapons, as they prepare for the climax of the first season, and shows the hope that the students will unite and grow as one big group after encountering a serious incident that occurs on the island. In addition, the opening animation has been completely renewed from episode 18. It too is set on a southern island, but there is something disturbing about it. Incidentally, the unique dance to the opening theme song "Jiryoku Hongan Revolution" is still in full swing. They seem to be dancing on the beach or terrace in summer attire.
