The Fractal Design "Define S" series of quiet mid-tower cases with a unique layout is now available!

Fractal Design has released the "Define S" series of middle tower PC cases that emphasize airflow and quietness.

The lineup consists of two models: the standard model "FD-CA-DEF-S-BK" and the side panel model with acrylic window "FD-CA-DEF-S-BK-W".




The FD-CA-DEF-S-BK and FD-CA-DEF-S-BK-W PC cases feature a unique layout that eliminates optical drive bays and mounts shadow bays behind the motherboard tray.

This unique layout features linear airflow to the CPU and high capacity for mounting a large radiator of up to420mm size on the top and360mm size on the front.


Standard installed fans are two 140mm x 2 fans (front/rear, one each). Additional fans can be added: front: 3 x 140/120mm, top: 3 x 140/120mm, bottom: 1 x 140/120mm,back: 1 x 140/120mm, sides: 1 x 140/120mm. ModuVent" fan slot cover. When fans are not added, the slots can be covered with the cover to increase quietness.

Main specifications include three 3.5-inch shadow bays and two 2.5-inch shadow bays, with seven expansion slots. The maximum length of installable video cards is 425 mm. Compatible power supply up to 180mm deep (up to 300mm when bottom fan is not installed). Runt I/O includes two USB 3.0 ports, Audio In/Out, and form factor support for ATX, microATX, and Mini-ITX.

Body size is 233 (W) x 520 (D) x 451 (H) mm and weight is 8.5 kg.
