AMD has released the new " A10-7870K" APU with "Godavari" technology .

Godavari" is a new model in the " AMD A10" series, following "Kaveri" released last January.

The A10-7870K is a Socket FM2+ compatible 4-core/4-thread APU with an 8-core "Radeon R7" GPU based on the GCN (Graphics Core Next) architecture.

The operating clock is 3.9GHz/ Turbo: max. 4.1GHz, and the GPU clock is 866MHz, which is an improvement over the A10-7850K (operating clock: 3.7GHz/ Turbo: max. 4GHz, GPU clock: 720MHz). In addition, the GPU will also support DirectX 12, which is scheduled to be included in Windows 10.
