Mamoru Oshii Film Festival 2015, Part 4: "Cult" Edition!　All the films from "Tachiguishi Retsuden" and "Assault Girls" are all here!

From the all-night screening event "Mamoru Oshii Film Festival 2015," the fourth installment of the festival has been announced.

This is a series of all-night screenings of Mamoru Oshii's best-known animated and live-action films. Following the first "Mobile Police Patlabor" edition, the second "Ghost in the Shell" edition, and the third "Maniac" edition, the "Cult" edition will be held on June 20.

The films to be screened include "Tachiguishi Retsuden" and "Assault Girls," as well as "Onna Tachiguishi Retsuden: Ketsune Korokke no Ogin - Palestinian Death Combat Arc," "Shin Onna Tachiguishi Retsuden/Kingyohime Bekko Ame no Ari," "Shin Onna Tachiguishi Retsuden/ASSAULT GIRL: Hinako of Kentucky," "Zan~KILL~/ASSAULT GIRL 2" and The shorts from the live-action series "ZAN~KILL~/ASSAULT GIRL 2" are all lined up. In addition, the unique gun action "KILLERS/.50 Woman" will be screened. It is unusual to screen only a part of an omnibus film, but this may be the last chance to see all the related works. Guests will be Mamoru Oshii and actress Hinako Saeki, who appeared in "Shin Onna Tachiguishi Retsuden" and "Assault Girls. The talk show is scheduled to focus on Oshii's theories on actresses and directing techniques.

The "Mamoru Oshii Film Festival 2015" will conclude with this fourth installment, and the next installment will become the "Mamoru Oshii Film Festival 2016" (date to be determined).
