YAMAMUSU PEDAL THE MOVIE" announces a new character, Susumu Yoshimoto (CV: Mamoru Miyano)!　The Fire Nation, Climber of Flames."

New characters/cast members have been announced for the anime film "YAMUSUME PEDAL THE MOVIE," which will be released on August 28, 2012.

The anime "Yowamushi Pedal" is based on the manga by Wataru Watanabe, which is serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion. It is a sports story about an otaku boy who enters the world of cycling after meeting his friends and aims for the Inter-High School Championships. The total number of copies of the original comics sold exceeded 13 million, and the second TV anime season, "Weak Pedal GRANDE ROAD," was broadcast from October to March 2015. In August 2015, the first feature film "YAMUSUME PEDAL THE MOVIE" will be released with a completely new story newly written by the original author.

This time, new characters/casts were unveiled. Susumu Yoshimoto, a new character, is the ace of the Kumamoto Daiichi High School team, known as the "Fire Climber of the Fire Country. He has a cheerful and aggressive personality, and although he was unable to compete in the Inter-Highs due to injury, he has first-class legs trained in the mountains of Aso. He is played by Mamoru Miyano.

I am very happy to be able to participate in "WIMUSUME PEDAL! Moreover, I've never tried a character before...I'm honestly nervous about ...... being in charge of a character from Kumamoto (lol), but I'm quite enthusiastic!
