JOYSOUND to Launch New Models "MAX" and "Hibiki" in Early July! Adoption of originally developed live sound source dedicated to karaoke, new scoring algorithm, and optimal key suggestion function, etc.

Exing Corporation announced new models "JOYSOUND MAX" and "JOYSOUND HIBIKI," which will go on sale in early July.

First, "JOYSOUND MAX" is a new model that will be the highest-end model of the "JOYSOUND" commercial karaoke system. In addition, it uses "X-Leben," a live sound source exclusively for karaoke, which was independently developed over a period of two years with Germany's MAGIX SOFTWARE, which holds the No. 1 share of the European music software market. X-Leben", a live sound source dedicated to karaoke. All songs are said to provide the realistic sensation of a live instrumental performance. The system is also equipped with "My Key," a function that analyzes the singer's voice and suggests the optimal key, and a new function that allows users to enjoy videos taken with their smartphones as background images for karaoke. The "National Scoring Grand Prix" allows users to compete with other karaoke singers from all over Japan to see how well they sing, the "Analysis Scoring Master" allows users to train in a pitch-strengthening mode for parts they have difficulty with until they achieve a certain score, and "Yokai Watch Great Scoring" features characters from the popular "Yokai Watch" animation series. The scoring algorithm is based on a middle school or junior high school. The scoring algorithm was newly developed under the supervision of Keizo Nakanishi, based on an analysis of more than 3,000 singing samples, to approximate human sensibilities.

In addition, the instrument performance support function, first introduced in the previous top-of-the-line model " JOYSOUND f1 " (released in June 2012), has been upgraded. The input terminals have been expanded from the previous two to two guitars and one drum, and the effects for the two guitars can now be set individually. This allows for more authentic band performance. In addition, peripheral devices have been completely redesigned: the JOYPad Kyoku Navi (JR-P1000) tablet terminal with a 10.1" wide LCD touch panel is now available, and the previous model has been redesigned as the Kyoku Navi (JR-300 (BK)), offering enhanced operability and entertainment value. A power amplifier, three types of speakers, and an infrared wireless microphone with revised mid-high frequency range will also be newly introduced.

The "JOYSOUND HIBIKI" is a lower-priced version of the "JOYSOUND MAX" for the night market. The company says it has achieved high cost performance by specializing in functions and content that are in high demand in the night market. The system features 170,000 songs.
