MADOSMA, a Windows Phone 8.1 Update smartphone from Mouse Computer, is now available for pre-order.

Pre-orders for MADOSMA, the first smartphone with Windows Phone 8.1 Update for the Japanese market, are now being accepted at the BUY MORE Akihabara flagship store. It is scheduled to go on sale on the 18th (Thursday) of the week after next.




MADOSMA" is a smartphone equipped with Qualcomm "Snapdragon 410 (MSM8196)" (clock speed: 1.2GHz/quad-core) and 5-inch display (1,280 x 720 pixels).As mentioned above, it is the first Japanese model to use Windows Phone 8.1 Update as its operating system. The company is "considering" updating to Windows 10.

The main specifications are as follows:the OS is Windows Phone 8.1 Update, and theCPU is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8196) (clock speed: 1.2 GHz/quad-core). The display is a 5-inch display (1,280 x 720 pixels). Memory is 1 GB and internal storage is 8 GB. Other features include wireless LAN (IEEE802.11b/g/n), front (2 megapixel)/rear (8 megapixel) camera, microSD card slot (up to 64 GB), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS . Included in the package are an LCD protector sheet (already attached to the main unit), a micro SD card (16GB), a battery pack, and a micro USB cable (for data transfer/charging).

Communication standards supported are LTE (1/3/19) and W-CDMA (1/8/19).

The main unit measures 142.8 x 70.4 x 8.4 mm and weighs approximately 125 g.

Preliminary price is 29,800 yen (including tax).
