Love Live! and μ's' second best album topped Oricon's overall ranking with 85,000 copies in the first week! This is the first time since "K-ON! the first time since "K-ON!".

Collection II" by μ's, released on May 27, will be ranked first overall in the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking dated June 8.

The album sold 85,000 copies in its first week of release, marking the first time since the album ranking started in January 1970 that an anime character has topped the ranking since the TV anime "K-ON! series, with "Houkago Tea Time" (released in July 2009) and "Houkago Tea Time II" (released in October 2010). This is the second group in history to achieve this feat. Incidentally, the highest Oricon ranking for μ's is the album "Love Live! Solo Live! collection Memorial BOX II" (released in April 2014) at No. 8, and their single "Dana toki datotsu" (released in May 2014) at No. 2.

Note that this work is the same as the TV anime "Love Live! from the opening theme song for the first season of the TV anime "Love Live!" (released in January 2013) to BiBi's "Fuyuki ga katte me no yokan" (released in December 2014), and includes 38 songs in total, plus a bonus track, "Love Live! School idol paradise" for PS VITA as bonus tracks.
