GHOST IN THE SHELL" and "Tokyo Underground Hack" collaboration project at Toei Subway and Tokyo Metro! Stamp rally and commercials aired all at once!

A collaboration project between Toei Subway and Tokyo Metro has been announced for the anime film "Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie," which will be released on June 20.

Ghost in the Shell" is a theatrical anime produced to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the serialization of "Ghost in the Shell," a science fiction work based on the manga published by Masamune Shirow in 1989, which has been adapted for various media and boasts worldwide popularity. The film depicts the secret of the birth of the main character Motoko Kusanagi, a full-body cyborg with super wizard hacker skills, and the origin of the independent unit (=Ghost in the Shell) under the direct control of the Ministry of Home Affairs, led by her. The animation is directed by Kazuya Kise, character design by Kazuya Kise, script by Tow Ubukata, music by Cornelius, director by Kazuya Nomura, chief animation director by Toru Okubo, and produced by Production I.G. From April 2015, a new TV series "Ghost in the Shell ARISE" will begin, which will be connected to this work. The collaboration project, titled "Tokyo Underground Hack," will be held from June 8 to 30, with a stamp rally using QR codes from the posters at seven Toei Subway stations, and a commercial broadcast and gift campaign at major Tokyo Metro stations from June 15 to 21. Details are as follows.



GHOST IN THE TOHEI TRANSIT Mobile Rally: Gather the members together with Director Aramaki to form the Ghost in the Shell!
Campaign period: From the first train on Monday, June 8 to the last train on Tuesday, June 30
What to do: Scan the QR code on the posters at the stations with your cell phone or smart phone to access the special page. A stamp will be placed on the dedicated page, and seven different character images will be presented at each station where the QR code poster is placed. If you collect stamps from all 7 stations, you will receive a downloadable character setting book. In addition, you will be entitled to apply for the present. A special application may be required to obtain images from QR codes. If you have any questions about how to read the QR code or any other questions regarding your mobile or smartphone device, please contact your carrier. Communication charges incurred when acquiring images and using the application are the responsibility of the customer. The order in which participants visit the stations is up to them. The collection is valid even if it is not done in a single day during the period of the campaign. Depending on the model of your cell phone, you may not be able to download the character set that can be obtained by collecting stamps from all 7 stations.
