All-night screening event for "Ghost in the Shell: The New Gekijoban" held on the eve of its release!　Kazuya Kise, Tow Ubukata, Mamoru Oshii, Kenji Kamiyama, and Mitsuhisa Ishikawa all gathered!

An all-night screening event for the anime film "Ghost in the Shell: The New Gekijoban," which will be released in theaters on June 20, has been announced.

Ghost in the Shell" is a theatrical anime produced to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the serialization of "Ghost in the Shell," a science fiction work based on the manga published by Masamune Shirow in 1989, which has been adapted for various media and boasts worldwide popularity. The film depicts the secret of the birth of the main character Motoko Kusanagi, a full-body cyborg with super wizard hacker skills, and the origin of the independent unit (=Ghost in the Shell) under the direct control of the Ministry of Home Affairs, led by her. The animation is directed by Kazuya Kise, character design by Kazuya Kise, script by Tow Ubukata, music by Cornelius, director by Kazuya Nomura, chief animation director by Toru Okubo, and animation production by Production I.G. From April 2015, a new TV series "Ghost in the Shell ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE" will be broadcast, and a live-action movie by Walt Disney Studios will be released on April 14, 2017.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the "Ghost in the Shell" series, an all-night screening event will be held. On June 19, the eve of the release of the latest "Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie," an all-night screening of five previous films, including "Ghost in the Shell," will be held at the theater. In addition, Kazuya Kise, who served as general director and character designer; Tow Ubukata, who also wrote the screenplay; Mamoru Oshii, director of "Ghost in the Shell"; Kenji Kamiyama, director of "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex"; and Production I.G. President Mitsuhisa Ishikawa, who has served as a producer on these films, will be the guest speaker and will talk about the past 25 years. As the members of the cast indicate, this will be a historic night for "Ghost in the Shell".

A collection of flyers from the time of the film's release (some of which have been reprinted) will be available as a special gift for visitors.
