TV anime "Utawarerumono: Nisari no Kamen" to air in two-court series from October! Completely new work based on a new game!

TV anime "Utawarerumono: Nisari no Kamen" has been announced. It will be a two-cour TV anime that will air from October 2015.



This is a completely new anime to coincide with the release of "Utawarerumono: The False Mask" on PS4/PS3/PS Vita on September 24, a new version of the popular game "Utawarerumono" which has also been made into a TV anime. The story is based on the latest adventure simulation RPG game, and begins when the main character Haku, who has lost his memory, is saved by a girl named Quon, who has beast-like ears and tail.

As this is a completely new film, the staff and cast have been completely renewed. The staff includes Keitaro Motonaga as director, Amaruki and Mitsumi Misato as character designers, Masahiko Nakata as character designer, Munemitsu Suga as scenario supervisor, Takamitsu Kouno as series composition, and Naoya Shimokawa as music. Animation production will be handled by WHITE FOX. The cast includes Keiji Fujiwara for Haku, Risa Taneda for Quon, Ai Kakuma for Lurutier, Inori Minase for Nekone, and Kentaro Tone for Ukon.
