Psycho-Pass the Movie" Wins Digital Signage Award 2015 in Interactive Category for Sibular System Crime Coefficient Measurement Experience in Shinjuku, Japan

From the animated film "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass the Movie", it was announced that the film won the Interactive category at the Digital Signage Awards 2015.

With Katsuyuki Motohiro, director of the hit detective drama/movie series "Odoru Daisousasen" (Bayside Shakedown) as general director, Naoyoshi Shiotani (director of "BLOOD-C The Last Dark the Movie"), Gen Urobuchi (series composition and script), who is also known for games, and Akira Amano (original author of "REBORN! (character draft), "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass" was broadcast from October 2012 to March 2013 as a story about a near-future police organization. The second season, which started in October, is set a year and a half after the final episode of the first season. The film version released in January 2015 was a hit with a completely new storyline and grossed 850 million yen at the box office.

The digital advertisement "Sibular Zone" for "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass the Movie" won the Interactive category in the "Digital Signage Awards" held for the seventh time in total. This is an interactive digital advertisement using the "FUKIDA System" that was implemented in the Metro Promenade of Shinjuku Station in Tokyo for about a week from January 5, 2015. The digital signage was designed to resemble the "Sibylla System," which holds an important key in the play, and the system allows visitors to simulate the experience of measuring the crime rate (a character appears depending on the value displayed on each individual's face). The reason for receiving the award was that "the work was highly interactive as content, and the collaboration between the work and characters itself was widely appreciated by the general public.

Comments on the award (Tomoko Hazama, Advertising Producer, Toho Film Division)
I am very happy to receive this prestigious award.
On behalf of the production committee, I would like to express my deepest gratitude.
We have been trying to promote "PSYCHO-PASS the Movie" in a fan-participatory manner in preparation for the release of the film. One of the most representative examples of this is the Sibura Zone. Although it was the most exciting time of the year just before the release of the film, people lined up for this advertisement every day, and we believe that we were able to spread awareness of the film to a wide range of people other than anime fans.
Thanks to your support, the movie became a big hit, earning 850 million yen at the box office. We would like to thank Musashino Advertising for planning and managing this ad together with us, Abeja for developing the system, and all the fans who have always supported us.
