Summer anime "Overlord" reveals key visuals and character setting drawings! OP/ED theme songs are both sung by Tom-H@ck's unit!

Key visuals and character drawings from the TV anime "Overlord," which will start in July, have been released.


Overlord" is a fantasy novel by Kugane Maruyama, whose series has sold over 400,000 copies. The story is set in the online game "Yggdrasil," which caused a huge boom but is no longer in service, and follows a lonely boy who loves video games in the real world as he becomes the most powerful wizard and leads his guild to confront NPCs who have suddenly begun to have a will of their own and an unfamiliar other world that spreads outside of the guild. Directed by Naoyasu Ito, series composition and script by Yukie Sugawara, character design and chief animation director Takahiro Yoshimatsu, and animation production by Madhouse.

The key visuals and character sketches have been unveiled. The character sketches include Momonga/Eins (CV: Satoshi Hino), Albedo (CV: Yumi Hara), Chartier Bloodfallen (CV: Sumire Uesaka), Aura Bella Fiora (CV: Emiri Kato), Mare Bello Fiore (CV: Yumi Uchiyama), Demiurgos (CV: Masayuki Kato), and Cocytus (CV: Kenta Miyake), and Sebas Chan (CV: Shigeru Chiba).


In addition, the OP theme song will be "Clattanoia" by the unit "OxT" (Oishi Masayoshi x Tom-H@ck), consisting of vocalist Oishi Masayoshi and sound producer Tom-H@ck. The ED theme song will be "L.L.L." by the unit "MYTH & ROID" consisting of vocalist Mayu and Tom-H@ck.
