3DCG film version of "Gamba's Adventure" unveils character visuals and special trailer!　The teaser poster is the exact composition of the original work.

Character visuals and a special trailer have been released from the animated film "GAMBA Gamba and Friends," which will be released on October 10.

This is a 3DCG animation film based on the classic children's novel "The Adventurers: Gamba and His 15 Friends," whose TV animation version "Gamba's Adventure" (1975) is known for its high quality that is hard to believe that it was made for children. The film is produced by Shirogumi, the same company that created the outstanding 3DCG animation for the blockbuster hit "STAND BY ME Doraemon," and uses today's most advanced visual technology to depict an epic adventure story in which a group of small mice join forces to fight a giant enemy. It is said to be a major project that took 15 years from conception to completion, took 10 years to produce, and cost 2 billion yen to produce. It has been 24 years since "The Adventures of Gamba and the Otter" was released in 1991.

The visuals of Gamba and his friends, newly designed in 3DCG, will be shown on teaser posters that will be displayed in theaters from June 13, and the composition of Masayuki Yabuuchi's illustration on the cover of the original "The Adventurers: Gamba and His 15 Friends" will be shown on the posters. The visual is a collage of 3DCG characters. Meanwhile, the special news bulletin depicts the small but unique Gamba and his friends on an exciting adventure, being chased by cats, riding on a bird and a carriage, and more. In the final cut, they all stare ahead with grim expressions, reminding us of the powerful enemies that lie ahead in their adventures.

When I was a timid child, I remember watching Gamba's adventures and being encouraged by Gamba and his friends. How many years have passed since then? I want the children of today to have adventures too. It doesn't matter if they are small or weak. With friends, anyone can move forward. I want to tell them now about the courage and friends that I had almost forgotten. I want to leave them behind. That's why I was asked to be a part of this film. I will also be in charge of the ending film. After watching it, I hope it will help you to take a step forward into a new world of reality. I will work with the members of the White Team with love and care. I am excited that the process of making this film is the beginning of my own adventure. I hope that this work will be enjoyed by children, former children, and animals all over the world.
