The Buffalo WXR-2533DHP, a wireless LAN router supporting 1,733 Mbps, is now available!

The WXR-2533DHP, a 1,733 Mbps-compliant wireless LAN router , is now available from Buffalo.




The WXR-2533DHP is an IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac compliant wireless LAN router. It is equipped with four large antennas on the top of the main unit and features high-speed communication speeds of up to 1,733 Mbps for 11ac (5 GHz) and 800 Mbps for 11n (2.4 GHz).

The antenna is movable, so that a horizontal signal environment can be created in horizontal dwellings such as condominiums and one-story houses by setting the antenna up and opening it in a fan shape, and a vertical signal environment can be created in vertical dwellings such as a three-story house by tilting the antenna down and opening it in a fan shape.


Other features
include MU-MIMO, which handles communications with up to three devices simultaneously for comfortable high-speed communications, and a beam-forming function that allows Wi-Fi radio waves to track smartphones, as well as the ability to use the device as a NAS by connecting an external HDD with a USB connection.

The main specifications are as follows: the main unit measures 316 (W) x 57 (D) x 161 (H) mm (excluding protrusions) and weighs approximately 900 g. Interfaces include one WAN and five Gigabit LANs, and the unit comes with an antenna, LAN cable, AC adapter, and USB cap.
