The gym leader of the first generation Pokémon, Takeshi, has become an elaborate figure!

The figure "Pokemon Red/Green HG Takeshi" will be released by Bandai in November.




This is a 120mm figure of Takeshi, the first Gym Leader that the main character fights and the wielder of the "Iwa" Pokémon, from the first Pokémon released in 1996 ("Pokémon Red and Green" for the Game Boy). The figure is a realistic rendition of the nostalgic dot-picture Takeshi, and the impressive arm-cross pose and half-naked appearance have also been skillfully reproduced.

The price is 3,456 yen. The figure will be sold through Bandai's official shopping site Premium Bandai (http://p-bandai.jp/?rt=pr) and other retailers, which will accept reservations from June 16 through August 31.
