Original animated film "Typhoon Norda", the third of three consecutive week-long events will be a screening of all of Yuyasu Ishida's works!　Talks and autograph session will also be held!

The third of a three-week series of events has been announced for the animated film "Typhoon Norda," which will be released on June 5.

Typhoon Norda" is the latest original animation film by Studio Colorido (established in 2011), a production company that brings together young creators mainly in their 20s, including 26-year-old Yuyasu Ishida, who won numerous awards including the Excellence Award at the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival for his short animation "Fumiko's Confession". It is a story of friendship between boys at a junior high school on a remote island on the eve of a cultural festival, and marks the directorial debut of Yojiro Arai (26), who has worked as an animator for Studio Ghibli on such films as "The Borrower Arrietty," "From Up on Poppy Hill," and "The Wind Rises.

The film will be released in theaters for a limited three-week run starting June 5, and the third of a three-week series of events has been announced. The third event will be a screening of all the works by Yuyasu Ishida, who served as animation director and character designer. After the screening, Mr. Ishida will give a talk session and sign autographs.
