Knights of Sidonia: The Battle of the Ninth Planet" will broadcast two special programs!　A look back up to the 11th episode will also be distributed!

The TV anime "Knights of Sidonia: The Battle of the Ninth Planet" has announced that a special program will be distributed.

Knights of Sidonia" is an anime work based on the science fiction manga by Tsutomu Nibei, who is known worldwide for his works such as "BLAME! It depicts a battle between the survivors of human beings traveling through space and Gauna, an interactive alien creature that destroys the solar system. The film version, which reconstructed all 12 episodes of the TV series and added new cuts and sound effects, was released in March 2015, and the second TV anime season, "Knights of Sidonia: The Battle for the Ninth Planet," began airing in April.

In preparation for the final episode, a special program will be distributed. As the first part, the collaboration screening event with "Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie" on June 24 will be broadcast live from around 22:10. As the second part, the full-length movie will be broadcast for three consecutive nights starting on June 24. As the third part, the award-winning works of "Knights of Sidonia x Nico Nico Nico Douga Video Festival" will be presented and the after-talk will be broadcast from 20:00 on June 25. The schedule is as follows.

In addition, on June 28 at 19:00, a screening of the unaired long version (director's cut version) of episodes 9 to 11 as well as episode 12 (the final episode) will be held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku. Guests will include Ryota Osaka (playing Chodo Tanikaze), Aya Suzaki (playing Tsumugi Shirahane), Aki Toyosaki (playing Izana Ketose), Hisako Kanemoto (playing Hana Midorikawa), and Tsutomu Nibe (original author).
