The Indian-produced animation "Arjun's Big Adventure: To the Mythical Island" will be broadcast for the first time in Japan.

This is the third installment of "Arjun's Big Adventure," a feature-length animation produced by Cartoon Network's Indian studio. It is a newly written story based on an episode of the legendary hero Arjun, who was given the "divine bow" in the Indian myth "Mahabharata," and features exotic images such as the characters' costumes and the use of colors in the animation. So far, the first series, "Arjun: The Mystery of the Ice Lotus," was broadcast in Japan in 2012, and the second series, "Arjun: Dragon Warriors," in 2014. Arjun, a young man who aspires to be a martial artist, and his four friends head across the sea to a mythical island to confront an evil force that is trying to invade the earth.

The Japanese dubbed cast continues to include Takuya Eguchi, Yoshimasa Hosoya, Wataru Hatano, Kenshiro Usuki, and others. It will be broadcast on Cartoon Network, an animation channel, on June 24 from 19:00 to 20:30.

Three years ago, I came across this "Arjun" for the first time. When I heard that it was an Indian animation, I was surprised at the high level of visual technology and direction. The pictures and story are nostalgic and easy to watch for Japanese tastes.
Arjun, who I play, is a heroic young man with a straightforward personality. It was a pleasure to voice him. Because of his straightforward character, I try not to change the way he delivers his lines, and I try to keep my mind clear.
The story this time is more and more like an RPG, with centaurs and giant serpents with multiple heads. I also like that Cerberus, which is supposed to be scary, is cute like a puppy (laughs).

<Story
Arjun's brother Beam and his mentor Drona were disappeared one day by a mysterious person, and in order to rescue them, Arjun and his cousin Daryodhan traveled to a mysterious mythical island in search of ingredients for a "medicine of immortality. Their guides are Atalanta and Socrates, residents of the island who yearn to be heroes.
At the end of their unprecedented journey, a confrontation with their arch-enemy Yaki, who is bent on revenge against Drona, awaits them..!
