Summer anime "Million Dolls" already held its 0th fanmeeting! An idol reality anime that delves into the psychology of the fans and the inner workings of the management

The TV anime "Million Dolls," which will start in July, held its 0th fan meeting on June 21.



Million Doll" is an anime work based on a popular web manga serialized on the new manga distribution service "GANMA! It not only traces the success of idols, but also realistically depicts the reality surrounding idols, including the inner workings of their management and the unique perspectives of the fans who support them. Directed by Kawaguchi Keiichiro of "SKET DANCE" and "Life," script by Murakami Momoko of the "Pretty Rhythm" series, and produced by Asahi Productions.

Broadcasting will begin on July 6 on TOKYO MX and Sun TV, and the 0th fan meeting was held on June 21. The venue was the Science Hall of the Science Museum, where voice actors Aina Kusuda, Miki Ito, Yuichiro Umehara, Eriko Matsui, Yui Watanabe, and Mayu Iizuka appeared. In front of a large crowd of fans, the event included talks, live performances, an advance screening of part of the special program that will be broadcast on June 29, and a "O-Ki-Ri" contest. The live performance was especially exciting as they performed "Dreamin'×Dreamin'! (Itrio: Eriko Matsui, Yui Watanabe, Mayu Iizuka) and "Take you to My Party! (Mariko: Miki Ito) for the first time. In the second part, the results of the audition for the performers were also announced. Natsuki Arakawa was selected as the Grand Prix winner. Here are some comments from the auditioners.

Aina Kusuda
Even though it was the 0th and the first fan meeting, we had a lot of people come. The talk and live performance were very exciting, and I am full of expectation for the future development of "Million Dolls"! When asked "Who is looking forward to the anime? I am so happy that everyone raised their hands in high spirits when I asked them if they were looking forward to the anime. I will do my best in postrecording and on the radio! I hope we can have another fan meeting. It was a lot of fun!


Mirai Ito
It was such a fun event that I felt like I was in the original story! I was so happy to see how warm the fans were. Even though it was the first time for me to perform a song, they got really excited and it was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoyed the real world of idols. Please look forward to the "Million Doll" anime.
