A TV anime adaptation of "NISSAN Ah, Reiji Abe - BEYOND THE AVERAGE. It will begin airing in July as "Kinyoru, Reiji Abe: Abnormal Daily Life of an Average Salaryman.

NISSAN Ah, Reiji Abe - BEYOND THE AVERAGE" is a popular radio drama provided by Nissan that has been broadcast on 37 JFN stations including TOKYO FM since April 2006. It is an everyday comedy about an ordinary, average, Showa-born businessman, Reiji Abe, who lives a positive life despite the rough and tumble of trends.

In the anime version, the famous "Japan National Salaryman Fact-Finding Survey" corner is animated. The questions are "Do you prefer bread or rice for breakfast? Or do you prefer rice?" Do you prefer persimmons for persimmon peas? Pie?" and so on. The program depicts the real ecology of salarymen based on data submitted to the program by listeners from all over Japan. It is produced by DLE and supervised by FROGMAN of the "Secret Society: Hawk's Nail" series. Tsukasa Nishiyama, who has directed the same series, will direct this film for the first time. The cast includes FROGMAN and Rika Matsumoto. Reiji Abe will also participate in narration.

The program will air on TV Tokyo every Friday from July 3 from 25:53 to 25:56, for a total of five episodes. It will also be available on the official website (http://www.abekin.com/) after the broadcast.

Rika Matsumoto comment
I am very happy to be appearing in DLE's productions following Pampaka Pants. I will be playing a variety of unique women in this work, which is produced by FROGMAN of "Hawk's Nail" fame!
