BD-BOX of "Mezon Ikkoku," theatrical film and OVA to be released on Sept. 30 for approx. 12,000 yen!　On sale on September 30 for approximately 12,000 yen.

A BD-BOX of the theatrical and OVA works from the anime "Meson Ikkoku" has been announced.

The TV animation "Mezon Ikkoku" is based on Rumiko Takahashi's original story, which was broadcast nationwide by Fuji Television in the 1980s. It gained popularity as a romantic comedy depicting the love story between Yusaku Godai, the main character who is not good at getting along in life, and Kyoko Otonashi, the beautiful caretaker of Ikkokan, whose husband died at a young age.

This time, the theatrical production and OVA are newly mastered and released on Blu-ray. The Blu-ray edition includes three films: the theatrical version "Meson Ikkoku: The Complete Arc," which depicts the period just before the wedding of Godai and Kyoko; "Meson Ikkoku: In the Shifting Seasons," a compilation of their love story; and the OVA "Meson Ikkoku Banga-hen: Ikkokujima Hanegi-Shimatsuki," a slapstick episode where they are all castaway on a deserted island. A "PIYOPIYO pass case (made of silicon)" will be included as an initial production bonus.

The price is 11,600 yen plus tax. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release it as "Mezon Ikkoku Gekijo & OVA Blu-ray Set" on September 30.
