Brass band anime "Hibike! Euphonium", the soundtrack includes all full-size BGM and brass band songs from the play! Big band music from the PV and more!

It was announced that the soundtrack of the TV anime "Hibike! Euphonium", a soundtrack will be released on July 8.


Euphonium" is a TV animation series that won the Takarajimasya "8th Japan Love Story Award"! Euphonium" is based on the novel "Hibike! Euphonium: Welcome to Kita-Uji High School Brass Band" (original story by Ayano Takeda). Set in a high school brass band club, it is a coming-of-age story that depicts how the female members of the club seriously engage in club activities under the strict guidance of their newly appointed advisor. Directed by Tatsuya Ishihara of the "Chuunibyou de Koi ga Shitai! series, series composition by Juki Hanada, character design by Akiko Ikeda, and series direction by Naoko Yamada. Animation production will be handled by Kyoto Animation.

The original soundtrack "Omoide Music" will be released this time. The soundtrack includes all BGM composed/arranged by Akito Matsuda. In addition, "Theme of the Rambo Shogun," "Marine Corps," "RYDEEN," and "Mikazuki no Mai" performed by the Kita-Uji High School brass band, as well as "Orfe in Hell" performed by Kumiko Kozen and her friends in junior high school, and "FUNICULI FUNICULA" performed by the Rikka High School brass band at the Sunrise Festival, All of the brass band pieces that appeared in the film will also be included in full size, including "The Place I Found Love" performed by Kumiko Koumae and Rena Kosaka. Among them, "Theme of the Rambo Shogun" and "Marine Corps" are prepared in two patterns: before (low-level performance version) and after (high-level version) instruction by Mr. Taki. The music is performed by the "Freshman Wind Ensemble" of Senzoku Gakuen School of Music, a cooperating school for music production.


In addition, there are the sound recordings (Kaori and Rena) of the audition for the trumpet solo part of the free competition piece "Crescent Moon Dance," the trumpet performance that Rena played to inspire her friends at the Sunrise Festival, and the big band piece "Starting the project" that was used in the preceding PV, A brass band version of "Starting the project" performed at the event, a brass band arranged version of the opening theme song "DREAM SOLISTER" and the ending theme song "Tutti! (bonus track), a brass band arranged version of the opening theme song "DREAM SOLISTER" and the ending theme song "Tutti! The booklet includes comments from Akito Matsuda, who was in charge of music, and Masahiro Owada, wind instrument instructor/conductor at Senzoku Gakuen School of Music.


The release date is July 8, after the TV anime airs. Character song CDs (Kumiko Kiomae, Hazuki Kato, Midoriteru Kawashima, and Rena Kosaka) will be released weekly starting July 1. This will include two songs from each character and a quartet written by Akito Matsuda.
