The "Naked Intelligent Building 5Bay USB3.0 + eSATA Combo Ver.2" (model number: CRIB535EU3V2), a RAID-compatible case capable of mounting five 3.5-inch HDDs, has been released by Century.

The "Naked Intelligent Building 5Bay USB3.0 + eSATA Combo Ver.2" is a RAID-compatible case that can accommodate five SATA-connected 3.5-inch HDDs (up to 8TB).

Five RAID functions are available: RAID 0 (striping), RAID 1 (mirroring), RAID 5/3 (stripe with parity), RAID 10 (mirrored stripe), and "Combine" for connecting multiple HDDs and "Clear RAID" for recognizing HDDs individually. The RAID 10 also supports "Combine" for multiple HDDs to be connected together and "Clear RAID" for individual HDD recognition. In addition, "Clone" for simultaneous mirroring with multiple drives and "RAID 1 x 2" for duplicate mirroring are also available using the included RAID Manager RAID configuration software.

The main specifications are as follows: the main unit measures 130 (W) x 185 (D) x 260 (H) mm and weighs 3.3 kg (not including HDD). Connection interfaces are USB 3.0 and eSATA. 2 x 6 cm square cooling fans (speed: 2,500 rpm ±15%, noise level: 13.8 dB).Supported OS are Windows 8.1/8/7/Vista and Mac OS X 10.10.3/10.9.5/10.8.5/10.7.5.
